Mr. Marty Caparros is the Chief Executive Officer of the Prestige and Pacifica Companies. Under Mr. Caparros’ leadership the Prestige and Pacifica Companies have become the premier builders of exceptional residential communities, commercial and industrial properties in Florida.

Mr. Caparros successfully completed the construction and sale of over two thousand homes over the past 25 years. The Prestige Companies and their related entities and subsidiaries have closed sales of approximately $2.3B and $1.3B in repaid loans. Mr. Caparros successfully steered the company through challenging market conditions and emerged with a reputation, both at the company and personal level, that is second to none.
The Prestige Companies as well as the Pacifica Companies have developed or converted over 15,000 units, 200,000 sq ft of commercial and over 1,000 acres of land. The Prestige Companies and Pacifica Companies are also among the largest privately held single family home rental companies in Florida with over $75MM in value.
Since 2012, Mr. Caparros has been on the Advisory Board of Black River Partners, LLC, a diversified real estate investment fund that is approaching $100MM in total transactions.
Under Mr. Caparros leadership, Prestige has partnered on projects with notable developers such as Roberto Cayon and Cayon Development, Jose Boschetti and BF Group, Art Falcone and the Falcon Companies, Eddy Garcia and Watermen Development and Sergio Pino and Century Homebuilders.
Mr. Caparros is a graduate of the University of Miami and is an active civic leader in his community. Among his public works, Mr. Caparros created the Prestige Scholarship at St. Thomas University for under privileged youth from the City of Hialeah and is a recipient of the Century Award from Baptist Health Foundation. He has also been recognized and awarded for his accomplishments by Hispanic Business, South Florida Business Journal, The Miami Herald and other organizations.
Mr. Alexander Ruiz is one of the Managers of Black River Partners. He is also the Chief Operations Officer of the Prestige and Pacifica Companies and has worked with them and their affiliates for well over a decade. His efforts have been instrumental to their success and continued growth.
Previously, he was the Director of Finance, Mr. Ruiz has been responsible for coordinating the financing of over $2 billion in acquisitions of diverse real estate transactions and over $1.2 billion in loans. Mr. Ruiz has also coordinated equity and institutional mezzanine capital transactions totaling over $400 million in the last nine years.
Additionally, he has been responsible for the management of all lender relationships with lenders such as Credit Suisse, FNMA, FHLMC, Citigroup Global Markets, UBS and US Bank. He has been trusted with the task of the creation of over 100 condominium associations, numerous community development districts and the issuances of public bond offerings.
Since April of 2009 he has overseen Pacifica Companies and all its affiliates, specifically Pacifica Homes and EZ 2 Own, which are the leading single-family distressed acquisition and resale companies in Florida with total sales nearing $75 million.
As of 2010, Pacifica Companies has also been among the largest privately held single-family home and apartment rental company in Florida with over $100 million under ownership and management. Since 2012 to the present day he has been involved with Black River Partners, a diversified real estate investment fund that has transacted over $70 million in deals.
Mr. Ruiz holds an MBA and graduate degree certificate in Finance and International Business from the University of Miami and is an honors and magna cum laude graduate from Florida International University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He has served on numerous non-profit and governmental boards such as Kristi House and the City of Hialeah Personnel Board.

Mr. Otto Rodriguez is the Director of Construction Operations for Pacifica Companies and has worked with Pacifica and its affiliates since inception.
He has overseen every project that Pacifica has constructed or renovated and holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Florida International University in Civil Engineering.
With over 40 years of experience Mr. Rodriguez has a complete understanding of the construction management side of the business model, and has completed several different types of construction projects including the construction of apartments, single-family homes, warehouses, office buildings, residential and commercial renovations.
In 2002 Mr. Rodriguez managed the construction of nearly 500 residences equaling $51 million in sales, as well as 160,000 square feet of commercial space totaling an additional $12 million.
In 2003 he managed the construction of 650 residences equaling over $80 million in sales and over 40,000 square feet of commercial warehouses with a total value of $4.2 million.
From 2004 to 2005 Mr. Rodriguez oversaw approximately 2,400 units of construction totaling almost $400 million in sales and from 2005 to 2007 he oversaw the general maintenance and rehabilitation work of over 13,000 condominium units across Florida. From 2008 until present Mr. Rodriguez has commenced major renovation and rehabilitation work on REO properties for lenders as well as all properties for EZ 2 Own Homes.

He joined Pacifica in 2005 during the company’s peak growth period and has been instrumental in expanding the areas of accounting and financial analysis. This includes developing financial packages for reporting to investors and lenders, creating modeling tools for projecting and analyzing operations of company assets, strengthening operational and financial controls as well as working day to day with the principals on all financial matters.
Prior to joining the Prestige and Pacifica Companies Mr. Carver worked as Director of Internal Audit for Physicians Corporation of America, a publicly traded health care company. He has also been Executive Director of Wellcare, Inc. and was credited for turning South Florida into the most profitable market in the company.
In addition he also worked seven years at KPMG, a large national public accounting firm focusing extensively on public entities and financial institutions.
Mr. Carver is a summa cum laude graduate of Wichita State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Kansas and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Dennis Rodríguez is one of Pacifica Companies operating partners and has been affiliated with the company for over a decade.
He began his real estate career as an investor in 1999 by purchasing assets from Prestige and its affiliate companies.
By 2004 Mr. Rodriguez had established himself as one of Prestige’s primary investors acquiring over 50 residential deals from numerous projects throughout the state of Florida. In 2006 he acquired an 80 unit apartment project which went on to gross over $17 million in sales.
Mr. Rodriguez has completed land development projects in North Carolina as well as multifamily and single-family rehabilitation projects in Florida. In 2009 he joined Pacifica Companies as a partner for South Florida’s leading single-family distressed acquisition and resale companies, EZ 2 Own Homes, which has grossed over $20 million in sales.
Since 2010 he has overseen the acquisition, stabilization and management of over 500 homes and of $50 million in single-family rentals in Miami-Dade County and Broward County.
Mr. Rodriguez holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from the University of Miami and an Undergraduate Degree with a double major in Marketing and Business Management from Florida International University.

Mr. Vilarello has more than 30 years of legal experience, including extensive experience in litigation, local government law, land use, zoning, condominium law and construction law. His firm specializes in real estate closings and title work with a focus in corporate law, zoning, land use, as well as business litigation.
Before joining Prestige as its General Counsel, Mr. Vilarello was a shareholder in Akerman Senterfitt’s highly regarded land use and governmental relations practice group.
Prior to entering private practice Mr. Vilarello served as the City Attorney for the City of Miami the largest city in the state of Florida and played an integral part of the city’s resurgence as a world class city, coming from the brink of bankruptcy in just a few short years. Mr. Vilarello held the position of City Attorney for the City of Miami from 1998 to 2004. As the City Attorney he served as legal counsel to elected and administrative officials and supervised a staff of over 30 lawyers.
In 1990, he became the City Attorney of the City of Hialeah the fifth largest city in the State of Florida, a position he held for eight years. He was responsible for providing legal analysis and advice to elected officials, department, division heads and supervised the city’s Risk Management Department.
Mr. Vilarello first joined the City of Miami in 1983 as an Assistant City Attorney and rose to become the Chief of the Litigation Division in 1990. In that capacity, he was responsible for defending all lawsuits filed against the City of Miami, its employees and its public officials.
Vilarello received his bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida in 1979 and his juris doctor degree from the Gonzaga University School of Law in 1982.
